"Huh? Kakashi~sensei, where are you going? Your seat is over here, with the rest of the clan heads."
"Hmm?"
Kakashi turned around to see his student pointing toward a chair for him with the rest of the clan heads. To Naruto's surprise, the rest of the clan heads didn't expect to be seated next to him. The copy ninja was delighted to see that chair.
"Oh, when did that get there?"
"I'm officially removing the Uchiha clan from Konoha and have plenty of assets. So, I figured to have two clans get equal shares of the Uchiha clan's assets."
(Flashback)
In the Hokage office, a particular pair of Homura and Koharu sat, sipping some green tea while discussing Naruto's recent fight against Kisame and how their kage's actions almost cost him the fight. Seeing their blond kage suddenly appear in front of them, the two advisors got up and greeted him.
"Hokage~sama!"
"At ease. I need you to call a meeting and do some official work. First of all, I need you to officially remove the Uchiha clan from the rankings and freeze all their assets until further notice. Next, I want a meeting asap. I'll be requiring every single clan leader and heir to be present and all of my advisors are supposed to be there. Not to forget that we'll be having all the other kage and their guards with us. Of course, the higher-ranking ninjas will be there, including the ANBU. And before I forget, please prepare a seat for the Hatake clan and the Uzumaki clan. Just the leaders."
Some mental eyebrows were raised after hearing Naruto's concern for a clan full of tombstones, not to mention the shock they received after hearing about the topic of the Uzumaki clan. Still, the two advisors shrugged it off and got up to call the meeting.
(Back To Present)
"Well then, don't mind if I do."
Kakashi cheerfully walked over to the Hatake clan's seat and sat. Some groans were heard before he sneezed, which rose his headband a bit, revealing his Sharingan. The groans quickly stopped as he pulled down his headband, to which both he and his student let out a small chuckle. Naruto cleared his throat to silence the room as he began speaking.
"Alright everyone, I'd like to thank all of you for coming at such short notice and the kage for being here. So, I have a few topics to address before we get talking about the war. Firstly, the Hatake clan will be getting one-third of the Uchiha clan's assets and all the scrolls about the Sharingan."
Hearing the words come out of her former teammate's mouth, the heir of the Haruno clan slammed her hand on her desk demanding against the blond kage.
"Preposterous! The Uchiha clan-"
Naruto got offended after seeing his ex-crush still go blindly after the last Uchiha, ignoring the multiple crimes he had committed before joining the Akatsuki and becoming an international criminal by attacking the 8-tailed Jinchuriki. He proceeded by slamming his desk, scaring half of the room, and roaring against the pink-haired kunoichi.
"Don't you dare, Sakura Haruno! Don't. You. Dare."
Needless to say, Sakura was shaken by her teammate's actions against her instead of blindly following her. She slowly sunk in her seat as her father politely raised his hand as he knew to behave himself in front of the whole village.
"Sorry about my daughter's actions, Hokage~sama. She just wants to highlight that there should be a fair vote for such a decision."
"A fair vote? Okay. Everyone except me gets to vote. Is that fine?"
"Hai, Hokage~sama."
"Fine. Everyone who thinks that the Uchiha clan should be dismissed by me killing Sasuke Uchiha, please raise your hand."
Sakura scoffed thinking that no one would dare raise their hand but to her shock, everyone in the room except for Naruto and her had raised their hand.
"Since so many of you guys have voted, I need shadow clones to tally the count."
The room was filled with laughter as Sakura sunk deeper into her seat. The clones poofed as the room went quiet before Naruto spoke once again.
"Ahem. Next, we have another clan being re-established. Hold on, hey advisors, where's the seat for the Uzumaki clan head?"
Naruto cracked his right hand's joints as he looked toward one of his advisors with a devilish smile on his face. 'Oh, Sh*t. I forgot about the Uzumaki clan.' That was the thought going through a certain Homura Mikado. A chill went down everyone's spine as they felt the accursed chakra being focused out of the blond kage's body toward the old advisor.
"Stop scaring them, you baka!"
Karin bonked Naruto's head with a baseball bat and sealed it back into a scroll before the young ninja turned around to face her, faking tears on his face.
"That hurts you know!"
"It's meant to hurt!"
"You're a big meanie!"
Naruto realized his surroundings and calmed himself before clearing his throat and speaking again, this time with a more polite voice.
"Anyways, you can sit on my chair. I'll stand."
"You're supposed to introduce me too."
"Why don't you do it?"
Karin pulled out a scroll and unsealed a cooking utensil as Naruto gulped saliva and turned toward the room full of high-ranking ninjas wondering what they had just witnessed. The Rokudaime Hokage caught their attention with a fake cough before he started to speak.
"Everyone, meet Karin, the new head of the Uzumaki clan. Since the Hatake clan has only got a small portion of the Uchiha clan's assets, the rest of them will go to the Uzumaki clan. Now, for the final topic of today's discussion. Madara Uchiha has declared war upon the 5 great nations. He has given us a month to prepare for the war. Since we have the other kage with us, we'll be deciding all the teams of the allied-shinobi force by today itself."
"But Lord-Hokage, how will we do so? I mean, we only have the leaf shinobi with us."
"Thanks for reminding me, Tsuchikage~san."
Interrupting the blond kage, 5 shadow clones appeared behind him in a yellow flash carrying stacks of papers using Senjutsu Chakra. They pilled up the paperwork in a systematic order differentiating the clan elites from the regular ninjas while keeping them in categories of their ranks and villages.
"As you can see, I have the paperwork about the ninjas from all 5 great nations. Now since we have all the higher-ups from Konoha and all the kage, we can make battalions balancing the forces with the wisest of Konoha."
The Kazekage slightly raised his hand signaling that he wanted to question the Rokudaime before politely asking.
"Just one question Naruto."
"Yes, Gaara?"
"How did you get access to all this paperwork without our approval?"
"What do you mean access?"
Kakashi chuckled as he disturbed the trail of thoughts the others in the room were having thinking about how their kage got the paperwork. Everyone looked toward Kakashi before he clarified his doubts with his student.
"You stole it, right?"
"And if I say I did, sensei?"
"Ramen's on me."
"Then I did, believe it!"
The rest of the kage looked at Tsunade who just sighed and nodded in agreement. The room erupted with laughter as Naruto accepted to stealing files from the rest of the villages over some ramen. As the laughter continued, Naruto sighed and walked over to the files, and took a look into the sealing corps list. The room went silent before Naruto cursed to himself and looked directly toward the blond kage.
"Something troubling you, kid?"
"Yes Raikage~san, there's something that I've been hiding from all of you. So I had my shadow clones go around the world in search of Madara and found something I wish I didn't. Before any of you ask me anything, is Captain Yamato here?"
"Hai, Hokage~sama. I'm here."
"Thank kami. Okay, I need you to be with Might Guy at all times."
"Why so, Hokage~sama?"
"Because Captain Yamato, no one told me that you had the cells of the Shodai Hokage! AM. I. CLEAR!?"
"H- Hai, H- Hokage~sama."
Naruto took a deep breath to calm himself down before apologizing for his uproar on Yamato. The entire room was shaking when he released the information about Yamato's cellular structure. The Raikage remembered that something was troubling the blond kage and so, he asked him once again.
"So, what's been troubling you, kid?"
"So, where was I? Oh yes, shadow clones around the map. One day, while cooking breakfast, I regained some memories of a shadow clone that was in a very remote area. I couldn't believe my eyes as what I saw shook me to the core."
"What was it?"
"I saw Deidara of the Akatsuki."
Pin drop silence. No one could utter a word. Naruto had disclosed the fact that he had seen a dead S-ranked rogue ninja via a shadow clone. Not to mention that this happened at the worst time possible. Why did he see Deidara? How did he see Deidara? All these questions yet just one answer. Only time could tell...
