K&D Joinery manufactured and installed this bespoke vanity unit and wardrobe for a property in Woodford Green.Made with Moisture Resistant MDF and veneered in Oak with a reeded decorative panel underneath the worktop. All factory finished with a stain and lacquered from the Symphony Harmony Stain Range. The shelves for the bathroom niches are also made with MDF with staff bead detail to face the perimeter.The bedroom wardrobe is also made from MR MDF where the internal drawers and carcass are over-veneered in Oak, and the back panels are pre-veneered in Solid Oak. The doors are “shaker style” with Solid Oak rails. Internals were factory finished with a stain and lacquered with Symphony’s Harmony Stain range and the doors were factory finished to a single RAL colour 20% sheen. Jacqui has progressed to become our much loved and respected Payroll and Office Manager. Other changes include a 200% increase in staff numbers. Jacqui is also our qualified mental health first-aider. K&D Joinery manufactured and installed this bespoke European Oak shopfront along with internal joinery. Located in Covent Garden. All made with 2.5mm thick European Oak veneered tricoya panels.Casem*nts and the door are single glazed with 8.8mm acoustic glass. The bar, wall panelling and counter top are all solid Oak with pre-veneered Oak MDF panels. All has been factory finished with Teknos System Colour Teak. Meet the teamPaul Health & Safety Co-Ordinator & Operations Director.Paul joined us in 2018 giving him a combined total of 37 years’ experience within the furniture and joinery Industries. His knowledge of Health and Safety and procedural understanding has allowed the business to set in place, several key changes in the way we operate. Paul is also responsible for health and safety and his qualifications include – NEBOSH, IOSH, Diploma in leadership and Management (level 4) and CIPS level 3. Paul has now been promoted to Operations Director, overseeing the vast array of projects that K&D undertake.

Congratulations to David who works in our cabinetry department for completing the London marathon on Sunday for @childrenwithcanceruk 🏃This is his fund raising page:https://lnkd.in/eD-uZzai My StoryI am running the London Marathon in 2024 for children with cancer. I have chosen this charity this year due to knowing so many friends & family who unfortunately have had a child diagnosed with cancer. Having children myself I can’t even imagine how they must feel when their child gets diagnosed with cancer. It turns their life upside down & I can only imagine how they must be feeling & so many questions they want answered. Unfortunately not long ago someone very close to me found a lump in her breast. She was only 16 & going through GCSE’s it hit her hard. She was referred urgently for a scan & whilst having the scan they said she needed a biopsy there & then as they also noticed her lymph nodes were swollen in her armpit & wasn’t too sure the lump was non cancerous. We then had a 2 week wait for the results. In this 2 weeks she was so worried & upset. She attended school every day & worked on the weekends still. She struggled with this wait a lot. We was very lucky her results showed it was non cancerous however she did have to have it removed due to the size & it could turn nasty. Since writing this another lump has appeared to which she will need to go through the same process. Luckily already been through this she feels more positive this time. Going through this with her really hit me & made me realise how families struggle mentally, emotionally & physically when they have had a cancer diagnosis. If I can do what I can to help raise money & make the slight difference I will. I will put all my effort to the Marathon & have been training regularly. Please help me to make a difference & help children with cancer.
