I am sure every Cryptoasset Trading Platform in Canada is looking at applying so that users can bridge between fiat and crypto even quicker and easier.The requirements to join are definitely an advantage to businesses already registered with FINTRAC and securities regulators (and pursuing membership with CIRO) and they will have first mover advantage for funding. Another pro of being compliance-focused!"Under the new rules, organizations that are both FINTRAC-regulated money service businesses and investment dealers regulated by the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization can apply to become participants. To join the e-transfer service, Interac says eligible financial institutions must meet all the same requirements and obligations as the existing participants".
