Name change policy
Croatia Airlines is offering more flexibility to our customers with bookings on OU operated flights and with tickets plated with OU/831 code.
Name change and name updates possible only before the beginning of the trip, and the change applies to all flights on the ticket.
The policy differs name change and name updates as described below.
Name update:
- Change of max three characters in passenger name element
- Confusion of family name / first name (e.g. Joseph / Jansen Mr changed into Jansen / Joseph Mr)
- Change of title (e.g. Jansen / Joseph Ms changed into Jansen / Joseph Mr)
- Adding DOB (date of birth) in name element (e.g. Jansen / Joseph Mr changed into Jansen / Joseph Mr(IDDOB02DEC97))
Name change:
- Any change in the name element not mentioned under name update (e.g. change of passenger, inserting additional surname, adding middle name, change nickname into a correct name, legal name change, etc.)
Conditions: 1. Before ticketing
- Name update is FREE of charge
- Name changeis charged 20 EUR. For travel within Croatia only, the charge is 15 EUR.
2. After ticketing:
- If there are different fare families combined in one ticket, the higher charge will apply.
- After ticketing name change and name update will be changed according to the table below:

Voucher can also be transferred to another passenger. Name change is charged 40 EUR for international flights or 13 EUR for domestic flights.
